Wet Dust Collectors

The Hydrotron Series from Diversified Air Systems is the answer for safely filtering aluminum, magnesium, titanium, heavy sparking applications, and other potentially explosive dust. These wet dust collectors meet National Fire Protection Association guidelines for processing and finishing aluminum, as well as OSHA and NFPA regulations for dust removal located inside buildings for in-plant re-circulation of filtered, tempered air to conserve energy. The Hydrotron is available in three configurations: the ducted wet dust collector, the wet dust collector containment booth, and the wet collector downdraft table. The Hydrotron may be equipped with an optional sludge conveyor; both the Hydrotron booth and the Hydrotron downdraft table also offer the option of re-gain air to enhance capture velocity.

Hydrotron DHYD Wet Downdraft Table Series
The Hydrotron DHYD Wet Downdraft Table is a self-contained workstation with an integral water dust collector, drawing the dust directly into the water filter system. Immediately wetting the dust and thereby reducing the risk of fire, our wet collector downdraft tables also meet OSHA and NFPA standards

Hydrotron HPB Wet Dust Booth Series
The Hydrotron HPB Wet Dust Control Booth is a self-contained environmental control booth that prevents dust from migrating into adjacent work areas and draws it directly into the water filter system of one or more integral wet collector modules. Immediately wetting the dust and thereby reducing the risk of fire, our wet dust control booths also meet OSHA and NFPA standards for dust collectors located inside the building. The optional Hydrotron HPB Regain Air System returns a portion of the filtered air through a plenum across the top front of the booth, creating a “push-pull” effect for velocities of 400 to 800 FPM in the center working area of the booth.

Hydrotron HWF Ducted Wet Dust Collector Series
Ducted directly to an industrial machine, the Hydrotron HWF Wet Type Dust Collector captures aluminum, titanium, or other volatile dust at the point where it is generated, drawing the dust into the water-filter system. The HWF Series provides source capture from 1,000 to 20,000 CFM, ranging from single-operation collectors to central collection systems for multi-point processes. Popular options for HWF Ducted Wet Collectors include stainless steel construction and drag-type sludge conveyors that provide continuous clean-out for heavy dust applications.
